- Performs tasks are harder for you in the times of day when you feel in a better mood and energy.
Keep medicines in a place accessible and visible. Place a board with them to the doses and the times you have to take them.

If you can make automatic payments through your bank, the better. - If your budget allows, hire one or more people you help with household chores (cleaning house, washing clothes, cooking, keep the garden)
- Step by step instructions placed next to the devices or appliances (clothes washer or the computer), and large print clearly.
- Organize your closets and drawers (a beloved family member can help) so you can find what you need quickly.
- By doing your shopping, food Stock up on canned or dry reserve, water, and products that you can freeze. So you will always have food available at home.

Watch out for your safety:

- Have you checked the smoke alarms in the house. They should be running smoothly, if you forget to turn off the stove.
- Simplify your life and your home: Remove the furniture and objects that are not needed. Then you will have fewer obstacles that could cause falls and less work to maintain and to clean them. Eliminates paper, magazines and books you no longer need that can accumulate dust, mold and even cause fires.
- Install grab bars in the bathroom.
- If you drive, you always take the written directions to your destination and return home. When you begin to experience a lot of confusion, stop driving. Ask someone else to take you to the doctors’ visits and other places you should go.
- Get help with transportation, depending on your age, maybe these services exist in your community. Asesórate with your doctor and/or social worker to indicate whether you are community programs that offer these services for people like you.
