Preventing Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis or decreased bone mineral density, which affect many elderly people with greater incidence in postmenopausal women is a major health problem. More and more older people with brittle bones that can break easily with minor trauma. One of the most common injuries in elderly hip fracture is, its consequences can be frightening, dying between 10 to 20% more than expected for their age, and up to 50% are disabled.
