Robert Lanza: A renowned Scientist

A world renowned scientist especially to those who are terminally sick, Dr. Robert Lanza, M.D. unveiled the secrets of extending human life. It all started in his basement, when he experimented and altered the genetics of chickens. A “genius” and “a renegade thinker” as what his mentors would call him, Dr. Lanza, ventured into the world of science it took him a decade to establish his name as a leading scientist in his field.

To mention a few of his hundreds of publications, hundreds of inventions and dozens of books, Dr. Robert Lanza wrote and proved “Principles of Tissue Engineering”. In nut shell, the book explains, how he and his team of scientists would be able to grow an entire organ of a person, for example, a kidney. All he has to do is to get a little cell from the defective one and he would be able to grow a brand new kidney out of it. Dr. Lanza also wrote “Handbook of Stem Cells” and “Essentials of Stem Cell Biology,” which are the most useful references in Stem Cell research. It is already approved for Human Embryonic Stem Cell treatment experiments. Dr. Lanza’s vision is to save lives and produce a healthy and kicking baby without harming the embryo. One of the lifelong missions of Dr. Lanza and his team is Stem Cell Treatment experiments on patients suffering from loss of vision. It is already alarming that progressive blindness syndrome is affecting mostly young people these days.

“Science is built on honor and integrity and now there has been severe damage to that reputation. Even for those of us who are trying to go forward in a responsible way, there is a stain,” as Dr. Robert Lanza quotes. Life is so precious, that Dr. Lanza and his team are still looking forward to get answers to all the questions which are considered unanswered with today’s knowledge.
