A hot drink to warm up! Yes but we opt for tea or coffee? Advantages and disadvantages, which will win the match tea vs coffee?

Caffeine is a stimulant known. It increases alertness, provides a feeling of vitality, help with concentration. In short, we boosts coffee and other benefits, it is rich in antioxidants that help fight against aging. Except that too much coffee we derailed anxiety, irritation, rapid heartbeat or digestive problems. If you are stressed, avoid coffee and then breathe it! Its odor may be soothing some researchers … And sleep side? This varies from person to person but the amount of coffee consumed during the day affects the time that we put to sleep and quality of sleep. More coffee is prepared tight, the more it is rich in caffeine. Limit your consumption or deca passes or extended early signs of stress. For info, 150ml robusta contains 150 to 250 mg of caffeine, Arabica 50 to 120 mg deca … from 1 to 6 mg!

many virtues of tea. In fact, it has the same advantages and disadvantages of coffee because the caffeine it contains … the molecule is equivalent to the caffeine in coffee! Only the name changes. Over the tea infuses more time it frees up knowing that caffeine tea contains on average two to three times less exciting this molecule as coffee. So, tea is less likely to develop sleep disturbances or unrest, but it depends on the amount absorbed during the day. Often accused tea prevent the absorption of iron is true only for iron plant and only if you drink while eating … Last belief: the tea is slimming. Well no! No wonder tea! Tea is a diuretic and contains almost no calories but only a balanced diet and sport can lose weight.

Tea vs Coffee

It is well known that tea has a mild stimulating effect. It contains a small dose of caffeine, but his release is very slow, which makes prolonged use much less harmful than coffee for the stomach, liver, adrenal glands and pancreas. Moreover, it tends to dilate the small blood vessels in the brain, which improves the ability to concentrate, but has very little impact on the heart and great vessels, unlike coffee, which can cause palpitations and anxiety .

Miles virtues of the leaf

But tea has many other qualities! The recent discovery of its high content of compounds called polyphenols makes him a star of preventive medicine. Polyphenols are powerful antioxidants that protect the body against DNA degradation, the process responsible for aging and the onset of degenerative diseases like cancer. All types of teas possess these virtues, but it is the unfermented tea (green tea and white tea) that contain the most. It is also advisable to eat tea leaves rather than bags.

If you have never tasted tea, or only to commercial teas sold in groceries, I advise you to experience a good quality tea brewed.

The virtues of tea are the following:
- Increase alertness;
- Stimulating the intellect;
- Vasodilatory;
- Diuretic;
- Anti-infective;
- Action against diarrhea;
- Harm reduction in tobacco;
- Prevention of dental caries and periodontitis;
- Slimming action;
- Stimulation of the immune system;
- Preventive action against cancer;
- Prevention of cardiovascular disease;
- Headache;
- Aging;

Dosage and recommendations:
- 1 cup per day for a stimulating action;
- 3 cups per day for the benefits. But this dose up to 10 cups depending on the case. To prepare your tea is recommended not to pour in boiling water which would render certain grades of tea.

Tea can also be used externally for example a packet of tea may be, once cooled, applied to the eyes to relax or reduce dark circles. It can also be applied to shingles or herpes and can be used in water of his bath to benefit from its relaxing actions.

Osteoporosis is a decrease in bone mass and mechanical strength resulting in susceptibility to fractures. It is the primary cause of bone fractures in women after menopause and the elderly in general.

Osteoporosis does not have a definite beginning and, until recently, the first visible sign of the disease used to be a fracture of the hip, wrist or vertebral body that causes pain or deformity.

The bones are undergoing continuous remodeling through processes of formation and resorption, and also serve as a reservoir of calcium in the body.

From the age of 35 inci loss of small amounts of bone. Multiple diseases or lifestyles can increase bone loss leading to osteoporosis at an earlier age. Some women are also prone to osteoporosis by low bone mass in adulthood.

Menopause is the leading cause of osteoporosis in women, due to declining levels of estrogen. The loss of estrogen physiological menopause or surgical removal of the ovaries, causing a rapid loss of bone. The women, especially Caucasian and Asian women have lower bone mass than men. Bone loss results in a lower strength itself, which easily leads to fractures of the wrist, spine and hip.

A higher probability of developing osteoporosis is related to:

Early menopause, natural or surgical

Consumption of alcohol or caffeine

Smoking

Periods of amenorrhea

Some medications such as prolonged use of corticosteroids

Processes such as thyroid disease, rheumatoid arthritis and problems that block the intestinal absorption of calcium

Dietary calcium for prolonged periods, especially during adolescence and youth

Sedentary lifestyle

Osteoporosis affects one in five women over 45 years and four out of ten of more than 75.

Diagnosis

It can measure bone mass, and hence its decline in the adult, densitometry techniques or quantitative computed tomography.

Weight gain during pregnancy has to be from 0.9 to 1.4 kg per month of pregnancy, or from 11 to 13.5 kg in a woman of average height. A weight gain between 13.5 and 15.8 kg fat is excessive and represents both the fetus and the mother.

Keep in mind that it is more difficult to control weight gain in later stages of pregnancy, so it is imperative not to increase the bulk of the total weight during the first months, however, poor weight gain is a sign negative, particularly if less than 4.5 kg.

No dieting is never recommended during pregnancy, even in very obese patients, it is essential that there be some increase in weight for good fetal development, and the system reduces the supply of nutrients to the fetus.

All the extra weight will be lost, at the latest, during the year following the birth, with a healthy diet and regular activity. Sometimes the simple fluid retention causing weight gain, who will miss a week after giving birth.

DIET

A daily diet of women should be applied and about 250 kcal per day to provide adequate fetal nutrition.

Most of these calories should consist of protein, but the diet must be well balanced, including fruit and vegetables of the season. It also should be taken free of sugar and cereals high in fiber. The salt (especially iodine) can be used in moderation, but avoid excessively salty foods. It should also limit foods with fats and sweets: pastries, chips, sodas, cookies and candy.

Folic acid is a B vitamin found primarily in leafy green vegetables, legumes, asparagus and liver. All pregnant women should consume 0.4 milligrams of folic acid per day, especially in the early weeks. This helps protect the baby in training against certain birth defects of the spine or brain, such as spina bifida.

Do not smoke, drink alcohol or take drugs not prescribed during the entire pregnancy.

SUGGESTIONS OF DIET IN PREGNANCY

Vitamins: Eat different kinds of foods every day. Since it is difficult to get the recommended amount of folic acid only through food, you may need to receive supplements (multivitamin), as determined by your doctor.

Sal: Your body needs a certain amount of salt when you are pregnant. The salt (especially iodine) can be used in moderation, but avoid excessively salty foods.

Meals: Eat three meals every day. If you have heartburn or stomach bothers you, do four to six meals with smaller amounts in the day.

Appetizers or snacks: Cheese, yoghurt, fruit and vegetables are healthy snacks. Avoid sweets, cakes, or sweetened beverages.

Water: When you are pregnant your body needs plenty of fluids. Drink six to eight glasses of fluid each day (water, fruit juices, and/or milk).

Caffeine: Caffeine is found in tea, coffee, soft drinks, and chocolate. Too much caffeine could be dangerous for your baby.
