Hydrotherapy or water application for therapeutic purposes is a technique that has been in use for many years, although in recent times has taken a certain height by the impetus given by tourism entrepreneurs and public and private. The thermal cures in spas becoming more and more prominence in this our fast-paced society, stressed, working at a breakneck pace, and which requires facilities and therapies that will relax and attend to their health holistically, taking care of their physical and mental wellbeing . Many people attend day spas in search of the alleged therapeutic properties of its waters and mud, there are even spas subsidized government programs for seniors.

Hydrotherapy
Hydrotherapy is the use of water by its chemical properties but rather by their physical properties. Hydrotherapy in the patient benefits from the application of different water pressure and water baths that can be cold or hot.
HidroterapiaLa immersion in hot water baths increases body temperature and promote the dilation of blood vessels which increases the risk of blood in the skin and muscles.
Cold water baths lead to constriction of blood vessels reducing the risk peripheral blood, both in the skin and muscles, promoting and increasing circulation to internal organs.
There are several ways to use the spa water:
- The bathrooms where hot water may be used in which case the body can remain immersed for half an hour with cold water duration is limited to five minutes, and if we combine hot and cold water can be applied respectively for 5 and 10 minutes. The baths are recommended for arthritis problems, skin diseases and circulatory disorders, however not recommend this type of therapeutic baths in the heart or in cases of hypertension.
- The washes consist of applying water with a cloth body areas of interest.
- The puffs are mostly used in treatments for respiratory diseases in the hot water is often added some kind of extract or herbs that help clear the respiratory system. The fumes are also used in beauty treatments.

Stomachache
Usually after doing some bad food combinations we face one of the most common reactions of the organism, which is the traditional “stomach”.
Many times by eating too fast and too much food high in fat, spicy, represent the most common causes or triggers of stomach pain.
But when we talk about stomach pain, are usually included a combination of symptoms such as: burning, cramping, nausea, flatulence and other causes of which also associated to excessive stress, irregular eating motivated by obligations, food poisoning or flu.
If the pain becomes more persistent or repetitive, could signal appendicitis, an ulcer or gallstones, which recommend in these cases and seek medical advice as follows:
- Experiment sudden unexplained abdominal pain
- When pain persists for more than 24 hours.
- If you have vomiting, fever or excessive nausea
- If you have rectal bleeding or unexplained weight loss
